​ब्रिटिश प्रीमियम बाइक निर्माता कंपनी ट्रायम्फ ने आज (6 अप्रैल) भारत में अपनी नई मोटरसाइकिल ट्रैकर 400 लॉन्च कर दी है। कंपनी ने इस बाइक को खास भारतीय बाजार की टैक्स नीतियों को ध्यान में रखकर तैयार किया है। इसमें पुराना 398cc का इंजन न देकर, 40hp पावर वाला एक बिल्कुल नया डाउनसाइज्ड 349cc का इंजन दिया गया है। इसकी एक्स-शोरूम कीमत ₹2,46,000 है। ये स्पीड 400 से ₹14,000 महंगी और स्क्रैम्बलर 400X से ₹14,000 सस्ती है। ट्रायम्फ की भारतीय लाइनअप डिजाइन और लुक: फ्लैट-ट्रैक रेसिंग से प्रेरित है स्टाइल डिजाइन के मामले में ट्रायम्फ ट्रैकर 400 बाकी मॉडल्स से काफी अलग दिखती है। इसे एक ‘फ्लैट-ट्रैक’ इंस्पायर्ड रोड बाइक के तौर पर डिजाइन किया गया है। हार्डवेयर और टायर: 17-इंच के नए अलॉय व्हील्स ट्रैकर 400 का वजन 181kg है, जो कि नई स्पीड 400 से लगभग 2 किलो ज्यादा है। राइडिंग को कंफर्टेबल बनाने के लिए इसमें प्रीमियम हार्डवेयर का इस्तेमाल किया गया है। इंजन और परफॉर्मेंस: कम डिस्प्लेसमेंट के बावजूद पावर में कमी नहीं ट्रैकर 400 की सबसे बड़ी खासियत इसका नया 349cc इंजन है। दरअसल, ट्रायम्फ ने टैक्स बचाने के लिए अपने पुराने 398cc इंजन के स्ट्रोक को कम करके इसे 349cc का बनाया है। भारत में 350cc से कम की बाइक्स पर 18% GST लगता है, जबकि इससे ऊपर की बाइक्स पर यह 40% तक चला जाता है।
