​MG मोटर इंडिया ने अपनी पॉपुलर विंडसर EV का टैक्सी वेरिएंट लॉन्च कर दिया है। कंपनी ने इसे ‘MG कम्यूट’ नाम दिया है। इसकी एक्स-शोरूम कीमत 13.49 लाख रुपए रखी गई है। यह विंडसर EV का सबसे सस्ता वेरिएंट है, जो खासतौर पर फ्लीट ऑपरेटर्स के लिए तैयार किया गया है। विंडसर के बेस मॉडल से ₹60,000 सस्ती MG कम्यूट की कीमत विंडसर के बेस मॉडल ‘एक्साइट’ से 60 हजार रुपए कम है। इसके बावजूद इसमें कई प्रीमियन फीचर्स को बरकरार रखा गया है। इसमें फ्लश डोर हैंडल्स, 17-इंच के स्टील व्हील्स और LED हेडलाइट्स हैं। बाहरी लुक में यह काफी हद तक स्टैंडर्ड विंडसर जैसी ही दिखती है। इंटीरियर: रिक्लाइनिंग सीटें और क्रूज कंट्रोल कार में रियर AC वेंट्स और 60:40 स्प्लिट के साथ रिक्लाइनिंग रियर सीटें दी गई हैं। ड्राइवर की सहूलियत के लिए टिल्ट और टेलिस्कोपिक स्टीयरिंग, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक पार्किंग ब्रेक, 7-इंच का LCD इंस्ट्रूमेंट क्लस्टर, क्रूज कंट्रोल और ऑटो क्लाइमेट कंट्रोल जैसे फीचर्स शामिल हैं। हालांकि, इसमें टचस्क्रीन इंफोटेनमेंट सिस्टम और स्टीयरिंग माउंटेड ऑडियो कंट्रोल नहीं मिलेंगे। सेफ्टी: सुरक्षा के लिए 6 एयरबैग्स मिलेंगे MG ने इसमें सुरक्षा का पूरा ध्यान रखा है। कम्यूट में स्टैंडर्ड मॉडल की तरह ही 6 एयरबैग्स दिए गए हैं। इसके अलावा इसमें चारों पहियों पर डिस्क ब्रेक, हिल डिसेंट कंट्रोल, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक स्टे
