​रश्मिका मंदाना अपनी आने वाली पैन इंडिया एक्शन ड्रामा फिल्म ‘मैसा’ के लिए लगातार तैयारी कर रही हैं। इस फिल्म में वह एक गोंड आदिवासी लड़की का किरदार निभा रही हैं, जो उनके लिए इमोशनली और फिजिकली बेहद चैलेंजिंग रोल है। इसके एक्शन को असली और प्रभावशाली बनाने के लिए इंटरनेशनल स्टंट डायरेक्टर एंडी लॉन्ग भी इस प्रोजेक्ट से जुड़े हैं। रश्मिका ने अपने किरदार को बेहतर ढंग से निभाने के लिए बैंकॉक में एक इंटेंस मार्शल आर्ट्स और स्टंट बूटकैंप जॉइन किया है। यहां वह रोज लगभग 8 घंटे ट्रेनिंग कर रही हैं, जिसमें हैंड-टू-हैंड कॉम्बैट, एडवांस स्टंट तकनीक और हाई-स्पीड एक्शन कोऑर्डिनेशन शामिल है। उनकी ट्रेनिंग की तस्वीरों में उनका बिल्कुल नया और फोकस्ड अवतार देखने को मिल रहा है, जो उनके अब तक के सॉफ्ट रोल्स से काफी अलग है। केरल में शुरू होगा 16 दिनों का एक्शन शेड्यूल टीम जल्द ही केरल में फिल्म का 16 दिनों का महत्वपूर्ण एक्शन शेड्यूल शुरू करने वाली है। यह शेड्यूल फिल्म के सबसे मुश्किल हिस्सों में से एक माना जा रहा है। रश्मिका की मौजूदा ट्रेनिंग इसी के लिए उन्हें तैयार कर रही है। फिल्म का निर्देशन डेब्यू डायरेक्टर रविंद्र पुल्ले कर रहे हैं और इसे अनफॉर्मूला फिल्म्स प्रोड्यूस कर रही है।
