Mövenpick Continues To Expand With Key International Openings

​Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, one of Accor’s premium brands renowned for its generous hospitality, joyful reconnection and convivial dining experiences, continues to expand its international portfolio with new hotels recently opened in Montenegro, Croatia, Uzbekistan and Armenia. The latest additions build on the brand’s rapid growth trajectory, with other recent debuts in Poland, Greece and Italy, and ahead of its planned launch in the UK in 2027.

Founded in 1948, Mövenpick began as a pioneering Swiss restaurant brand and has grown into an international hotel brand with food and drink at the centre of the guest experience. Today, this heritage is reflected across more than 140 hotels worldwide, where thoughtful service, welcoming spaces and a strong culinary offer bring people together.

Emirates brings its global travel rehearsal programme to the Maldives

​Emirates, the world’s first Autism-Certified Airline, has conducted its first-ever “Travel Rehearsal” programme in the Maldives, at Velana International Airport (MLE).

The Travel Rehearsal programme allows people with accessible travel requirements to experience a guided simulation of the complete air travel journey, familiarising them with airport procedures and onboard environments ahead of time – helping reduce anxiety and build confidence before an actual flight. This is the first-of-its-kind initiative conducted at Male’s airport, organised by Emirates and supported by airport stakeholders in addition to other partners.
