​United Airlines has launched its nonstop daily seasonal service between Glasgow and its hub at Newark/New York, celebrating the arrival of the inaugural flight into Glasgow Airport. United is the only U.S. airline offering a nonstop service between Glasgow and the United States. The route marks United’s return to Glasgow which the airline served previously up until October 2019 and is the first scheduled service by a U.S. airline between Glasgow and the United States since 2019.
